Danalix was birthed from the desire of our founder & CEO, Kingsley Jesuorobo, a lawyer, who has over 30 years of law practice experience, to overcome the challenges he and his colleagues encounter with the traditional manual, tedious, and time-consuming processes and a general lack of simple daily tasks automation which make legal practice tough and risky. In some cases, these challenges lead to instances of malpractice claims and/or even outright loss of practice licences.

Some information we collected to help us along the way:
- Service, governance and conflict issues constitute 45%, 20% and 10% respectively of the complaints faced by lawyers and paralegals under the regulatory oversight of Canada's largest regulator of lawyers and paralegals (Source: Law Society of Ontario 2021 Annual Report).
- 80% of lawyers (in Ontario, Canada) have at least one malpractice claim in the course of their career for sundry reasons. For example: at least 54% of the Criminal Law practice claims are due to Lawyer and client communication errors; the most common source of Corporate/Commercial Law practice claims are lawyer/client communication issues; lawyer/client miscommunications cause 42% of claims in Immigration Law practice matters; clerical errors are the most common cause of IP Law practice claims, representing one third of the claims in this area of law where missed deadlines are also a very common cause of claims; and breakdown in lawyer/client communication is the most common cause of Real Estate Law practice claims (Source: LAWPRO).
- Users say Cyber Security has been a challenge for them as legal practitioners, with about 42% encountering security breaches which result in losses such as: consulting fees for repairs (39%) and downtime/loss of billable hours (35%).
